Ask yourself one question:
- Figure out what you need to improve the most. Take a good long look at your Chinese and ask that question honestly. Far too many people avoid it, preferring to work on things that they like to do.
- Create a plan to target that area. Know what you need to improve most? Now you need a plan. Find some methods and materials that will help you study whatever it is you need to work on.
- Break your plan into little pieces. By breaking your tasks down, you’ll find they are easier to do. And by finishing those small taks, you’ll keep yourself moving in the right direction.
- Add your plan to your daily rituals. If you make a habit of studying Chinese, you’ll have a better chance of sticking to that plan when you’re feeling unmotivated.
